Returns based on defective or damaged items.

Oversized or heavy shipments must be delivered by common carrier (truck freight) and are brought to the CURBSIDE only via our freight program during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. For larger items, we recommend that you have additional help available to bring the items from the curb to inside your home or business.

First, we make every effort to deliver product in perfect condition. All products are boxed and/or crated and that is how they should arrive. We ship most orders on over-sized wooden shipping pallets. This insures that products are touched by as few human hands as possible. Considering the large volume we do, we have less than 1/2 of 1% freight damage.

In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged, you should write down any and all "EXCEPTIONS" on the Delivery Receipt before the carrier leaves. Our freight is insured and you have every right to file a freight claim with the carrier if they did not handle your products properly. You can contact us if you need a claim form.

If you see visible damage to the cartons or the product, you can choose to (1) keep the product and file a claim (ask for a claim form from the driver), or (2) refuse the product and have it sent back. It is a good idea to document any problems with a digital camera if possible.

Sales tax is charged to California residents only. The current rate is 8.25% and subject to change without notice.

All products are warranted against manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover abuse or wear from normal usage. At our option, we will replace or repair the defective component or unit. In the event the product is no longer available, we reserve the option to replace the product with equal merchandise.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange or return your item within seven (7) days of delivery. Retain all boxes, packaging, wooden pallets and documents so that the item can be re-packed and safely returned back to us in original new condition. Please note that you are fully responsible for all freight charges from/to our warehouse. Upon return to our warehouse, we will give you a full credit, less a 25% re-stocking fee, and less all freight charges, if the product is undamaged and intact. (IMPORTANT: It is important that you return the products on wooden pallets if the product arrived originally on pallets. If you have stretch wrap or rope, it also recommended that you secure the cartons to the pallet.) This policy includes any orders canceled after shipment. If the order has not shipped, we will duly cancel the order. If your credit card was charged, we will provide a full refund. The only exception to the above policy is for made to order, special order and/or custom order items, which are non-cancelable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

UPS ground delivery runs about 7-10 working days. Plan on 2-3 weeks for freight service for shipment on larger items that cannot be sent via UPS

Any returns must be pre-approved by email to customerservice@EUROlampshades.com
